Alex operates as a Strategic General Consultant to provide the operational command for complex public affairs campaigns. He works seamlessly alongside lobbyists and legal counsel to transform legislative strategies into actionable advocacy. Whether acting as the primary architect or partnering with an existing team, Alex operationalizes the mission to ensure that data, messaging, media, and field operations are disciplined and fully aligned with the client’s regulatory goals.
As the founder of Ozean Media and Meer Research, Alex brings a specific kind of alchemy to this role: fusing deep opinion research with award-winning media. While most firms separate data scientists from creative directors, Alex operates at the intersection of both, driven by the belief that you cannot influence an audience you do not first measure and understand. His hands-on expertise spans the United States, guiding elected officials, trade associations, ballot initiatives, and private sector clients through complex political landscapes.

THE PIVOT
After years of winning high-stakes partisan campaigns, Alex witnessed the corrosive effects of hyper-polarization. He made a strategic decision to pivot Ozean Media away from the noise of partisan fighting and toward Constructive Advocacy.
Today, he applies the lethality and speed of political campaign tactics to solve problems in Clean Energy, Economic Development, and Infrastructure. He helps organizations navigate NIMBYism and regulatory gridlock to build solutions that unite communities rather than divide them.
THE ACADEMIC STANDARD
Strategy requires study. Alex serves as an Adjunct Professor at Santa Fe College and as a lecturer in the University of Florida’s Graduate Political Campaigning Program.
A proud “Double Gator” and former Student Body President at the University of Florida, he was honored with the Walter C. Campbell Leadership Award as the top student in the Master’s program. He remains committed to mentorship, inspiring the next generation of operatives to approach the craft with integrity and scientific rigor.
